I maybe missing the obvious but am I right in gathering that that means the records are not searchable online, only at the NAS?
I see one part leads to scottishdocuments.com which seems to be a holding site for a digitisation project and then leads to SP - where I haven't found anything for Kirk Sessions - again I may be missing the obvious (I need a push in the right direction to find my way sometimes).

Yet another website -  www.nas.gov.uk
I'm almost certain that if you want to consult the kirk session records for a particular parish you would need to visit Edinburgh.  However, it appears that eventually (but dear knows when !) they will be available online.
