Children's Homes

My grandfather and his brothers were orphaned in Belfast in 1904.  They were put in the care of the Catholic church, although parents seemed to be of mixed religions.  I find my grandfather and one brother in the 1911 census, in Belfast.  They state Louth as their county of birth - which is incorrect.  I am wondering if they were sent to an orpanage in Co Louth.  Also for some reason they are recorded as being Presbyterian, in 1911.  It could just be a mistake on behalf of the owner of the boarding house filling in the census form.
Can anyone guide me to the names of any institutions into which children were put in care in 1904 in Louth.
Thank you
Lucy
