Finding a (possible) death WW1
« on: Friday 16 April 10 20:46 BST (UK) »
Can anyone please help me find if Frederick William Wood died during WW1?

On his son's marriage certificate (1937) his is recorded as deceased, Signal Bosun, W.O. R.N.

Thankyou.

Thanks Cal241, but I think, although I know little of military matters, that RN means he was Royal Navy.

Maybe the CWGC (Commonwealth War Grave Commission ) site could help locate him if he died in WW1....
