John Flanagan born c.1879 Mullingar

I am researching this family for a friend. John Flanagan born Mullingar c.1879  moved to Tyne & Wear and married a local girl Mary Boyd where they had 10 children.

Any information on this family would be very helpful.

Hi Jennifer,
Unfortunately they did not marry until 1912 so we cannot pick them up on 1901 Census. I will have a look for John though as he may have been in England by then.
(EDIT, nothing definite)

The M/C will give your friend extra info;

September 1912, Gateshead, 10a 1924

As John would be about 33 then it may be a second marriage for him.

By the way Mullingar is in Westmeath not Meath. They are different counties.
