« on: Sunday 18 April 10 17:37 BST (UK) »
Hi
I'm new to genealogy and also new to roots chat so any help is appreciated, I'm looking for any information relating to my Grandmother's final resting place, she died in 1941 when my mother was 3 all i know is that she died in Northwich, but do think she lived in Warrington, she does have links to Budworth but I'm not sure where to start looking!
Any help greatly appreciated

Hi and welcome to Rootschat

This is her death registration

March qtr 1941 - Maud R Ditchfield aged 40 Northwich Volume 8A Page 782

A copy of her death cert will tell you exactly what date she died and where she died which could then help find her grave

You can order online at the following link - cost is £9.25 per cert
www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/

The death is also shown on www.cheshirebmd.org.uk so you can order direct from the Registrars Office at Chester as follows if you prefer:

Go to www.cheshirebmd.org.uk and turn up the marriage entry

Click on the reference number in the right hand corner

Do the same on the next screen

You can then print off the application form
