That could be correct, I thought the family were from London 'till the bit about the marriage in Norfolk.     There's a distant relative who gives me odd bits of the story but it's like pulling teeth, I've emailed her asking when her Grandfather, the said Albert Edward, died but so far this morning no reply.    A pity Queen Victoria had a husband called Albert and a son 'heir to the throne' called Edward which probably accounts for the rash of Albert Edward in the late 19th century.     When working back into the unknown I usually assume men were married aged circa 23 and women 20, not accurate but surprising how many were those ages, but as you say, put nothing in untill you're doubly sure.

I'll put that Albert Edward on the possibles list for a further check, thank you.    I'll google and get a map of Norfolk and see where all these places are.

Thank you,

Ray

it may be wise to get another copy of the marriage certificate so you can start from exactly the right information  :)

Hi,

I had a relative who worked on the UK railways, he mentioned a work friend who was a Foreman Ganger, so perhaps Albert E worked on the railways.

Regards.

Hello findem,

Thanks for the nod, may help if I ever get any more information on him.

Toni,

Thanks for trying, This relative is out in the twigs of a tree and unfortunately the coffers won't stand for pillaging on such a way out relative.    The relative I mentioned yesterday came back with her fathers death (by bad luck he was called Albert Edwards) so it caused some confusion.

Looks like it's dead in the water unless some aged relative comes up out of the woodwork with anything.

Thanks for the help.

what made you think that the family were from London ?
is it because they lived in London from 1918 ?

Hello again,

I seem to be getting you in a tangle.    I'm trying to find Albert Edward Ward  who married Elizabeth Pegg in 1914 in Aylesbury Norwich but I don't know when either was born.    The Ward family were in Norfolk in 1914 but in Barnet by 1917.

Seperately, their daughter Kathleen Victoria Ward b 1917 in Barnet, married an Albert Edwards.   Kathleen was married about 1937 from Barnet which is where the London link is.

It's causing confusion here with relatives.
