On Ancestry, there is a story on a private tree entitled "Elizabeth Mackness maiden names", and it refers to Elizabeth Hamilton (1879-1951).  Since this tree is private, you would have to contact the person via Ancestry, to get the details.  According to this person's contact details, she is a frequent user of Ancestry.

P.S. I've contacted the person in question, and I have made her aware of this thread.

Age: 21
listed as sister to Frederick Mackness 25

Did her husband have a brother named Frederick?? No children though! Hmm
