There also appears to be a problem with doing a general search for a person in a country....... it comes up with a notice saying that the page is no longer available....  what on earth are they up to...??

...and now I can't find the old census search  :(

Does anyone know where it's gone?  I clicked on my link and it asked me to log in (a sure sign that they have been up to somethng!) and it just gives me that horrible new search with nowhere to put in the ref  :-\

Not like one little bit

 :)

Relief - I've found the old search. I'm sure it wasn't there when I first looked because I knew where it used to be and I checked

Good news!!

1851 and 1871 seem to be back to normal

I've just done the 1851 search I showed in my opening post and got the results I would have expected
