thanks for the confirmation Merlin, I am new at this and its nice to know i am on the right track. I am the only one researching my family right now and its so hard to know if i am doing it properly.

You know you can copy or print these pages via the print option in the right hand corner of the page.

It will bring up a clean text version of everything that is being posted for you without all the garbage.

thank u Merlin but my hubby broke the printer.. it will be a little while before i am able to get another one

If you click on the PRINT option as Merlin says, it will open another window without all the fancy bits. You can then select it all, and copy and paste it to a word document to save to file. That way you can print it later  on if so desired.
