Sorry- Maryann Fitzgerald married Henry Kidd and they had Edward, Beatrice etc.

Hi Isy, Thank you for your reply.

Poor Edward was a widow at 26 as Edith and her baby son died of T.B. this left my grandma Florence who went to live with her grandma Sarah Ann Malkin.
Edward went to war and came back wounded.
He never remarried and was a kind gentleman who always smiled we never knew what heartache he had until now.

Hi Jackie,
I see what you mean- where was Edward in 1891? I cannot find him either?

Am I correct in thinking that you know Mary Ann's fathers name to be Edward, from her marriage certificate?

Edward was Mary Ann's father according to records from Ancestry- not seen a certificate as such. Thank you for your help on this.

Hi-back on the trail!
Mary Anns father was Edward and mother Ruth. Can't get any further except Ruth was a widow in 1891 and a charwoman in Woolwich Union Workhouse in the 1891. She is still there in the 1901 aged 81. There is some discrepancy with birth date and just says Scotland. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you
