My great x 3 Grandmother was Charlotte Dowsing, born c1815 in Orford, who married Benjamin Hawes (sometimes spelt Haws/Hawkes/Hawse). Can anyone please help me out with her parents names? Can anyone please also tell me how I can get accsess to the parish records? Many thanks, Kate.

The Orford Parish Records would be available at any of the three Suffolk Record Offices, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds & Lowestoft, Or you can purchase copies on fiche for your own use, from them. You may be able to arrange to view them at your nearest Family History Centre. If you go to the 'Suffolk Surname List' you will find that someone is willing to do 'look ups' for you.
