Hi Lu, Yes thank you.
I have found most about   James William and his wife ,also his father William who was married to Catherine.
So I have turned my research to James Williams daughters.
Like who the married etc.
I can supply what I hve regarding this line if you like.
Many thanks,
Neil

Seeking any information on William, married to Maria and their children
Elizabeth Jane, Henry Catherine and Mary M.
Many thanks,
Neil Boyce

Hi Neil

Yes  ... a jolly good idea to post here, the information you already have for William and his wife.    :)

Why I wonder, has William suddenly become "James William"  ?

All very confusing too, as you had initially asked for information on William, Maria and their children.

[It seems (to me) that Maria might have  re-married ?    Is that information you have ?]

I have read with interest the thread re: William Boyce. I have been researching this side of my family recently and have just discovered this forum. Part of the puzzle seems to be that James William (born 1823) called himself William Boyce instead of James William Boyce. Not only that both father and son appear to have died in same year 1864. Looking forward to discovering the missing pieces.

How amazing to find the author of this topic is a cousin that I have not been in contact with for many many years.
