The missing woman completed
« on: Friday 25 March 05 15:35 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone help me find the missing woman.

Judith Townsend bapt Henley Oxfordshire 1803

Living with husband James on the 1841 & 1851 Census for Clewer Berks. She was a widow by June 1859.

I have looked for her death until 1881 no sign.
I then looked for a marriage until 1881 no sign.
Look at the census return1881 for whole of England no sign.

Have you any ideas I could try please.

No, thanks I don't. I will have to ordered the 1891 census now. It is John, but I don't think its Eliza. She was born 1829 and that Eliza was born 1851. I don't think Judith will be on it though. Can any one tell me if you could then (1850's to 1880's), get buried without a death certificate?
Thanks for all your help.
