Hi

No from Sept 1838 onwards - there must have been a registration for the burial,  all marriages were also registered (or not legal) the only things that got missed were some births because the parents didn't register - they could get fined for this though.

If you are working from the Free BMD site - don't forget that the indexes are not complete yet

Thanks Debbie. No I check the St Cath index at the library, but there is no sign of her. I just can't understand it. Judith is usual for that time. Not many at all.

Do you know her maiden name? - she may have remarried and it been registered/indexed under that - I have known it happen - just a thought
