Offer: Need Eyes in the Seattle area?

I live on Bainbridge Island just off the coast of Seattle in the Puget Sound.

I won't claim to be an expert on records in America as my tree is all in Britain, but I'm /here/ and if you need something looked into I am happy to try and help.

My easiest area to cover is Kitsap County which includes Bainbridge, Poulsbo, Silverdale, Bremerton, Port Orchard and many places in between. I do however make a regular Monday trip to Seattle and am happy to go over early and see what I can find on that side of the water if you need me to :)

I make no promises about the amount of time I will have available but I shall do my best should anyone need me.

Hi Helen

Just a quick question if I may please? Do you know if there is an index of marriages in Seattle from the period 1946 up to 1971? The reason I ask is that I have an ancestor who married 5 times between 1918 and 1946, and I am fairly certain there was at least one other marriage in the Seattle area, and quite possibly several more. What would be the best way for me to find this information, bearing in mind I am in the UK? Thankyou for any help you can give.

It has King County marriages (I have several in the area from 1930s thru 1970s I have found there).

Thankyou for that. I have found four of his mariages on there and it is wonderful how they allow you to print the certificates free of charge.
