Thanks to every one who suggested various ways of trying to identify enlistment dates using service no. Whilst I had no luck with the relative concerned, in looking, I found the complete service record for his cousin, also a Framfield resident! I have now tried to find details of four related Framfield men, and have service records for two;uncle and nephew. The other two I have possibly got MIC details for, but cannot be sure.
