The IGI marriage you saw is unmarked as to how submitted says Sept 22  1893 Oxford, Worcester, Massachusetts

but the IGI extracted file says:  Feb. 15 1894, Manhattan, New York, New York
He born Oxford parents listed as above, she born in  it says Braettsboro * her parents : Norman Clayton and Maria Newman  ( * perhaps Brattleboro, Vermont?)

* or? BC Critter Corner in Attleboro, Mass

There is a marriage 24 Nov 1915 of a Lucy Leona Saint Germain b. 1893 Gardner Massachusetts to Harland Austin Bashaw, her parents listed as Herman Saint Germain and Lucy Antaya
Just in case Herman is a brother's son who also came later....he's listed as Hermon St Germain on 1900 census Gardner town (south part), Worcester, Mass. immigrated in 1870, married 1881( says 1864 in 1920), born 1861 Canada  French
& Just found him on the IGI for Lucy's birth as " Hormidas St.Germain"

Have also added more Saint Germaine to 1880 list in above reply...shoe/ boot workers, so likely yours...

a Horace married Georgiana leRochelle/LaRochchelle St. Germaine? bit can't find marriage
Just found one in 1880 parents  Nelson St. Germaine & Emily Shepard ...and another marriage for an Armya St. Germain 1867 Nelson, mother Emily in oxford...but do these people use different names for census/marriage/births, as they can't be found again under those names...
Just found Camillo marriage father Nelson mother Emily "Chapest" 1877 Oxford, Worcester, so might be getting closer...

Information for a Philadephia...must be brother to Horace above
father Narcisse ST. GERMAIN,   b. 1819, Canada / Mother Emily Chaput SHEPARD,   b. 1825, Canada
They seem to have come later, but the name Horace was also used by your family and a "Orris"
Here is the list of children to Narcisse Emily...some name match with those in Worcester 1880...and there is a blank for an unknown? Should contact the site owner for more details as this could be a tie-in for you...
Mass.http://larryvoyer.com/genealogy/getperson.php?personID=I74006&tree=v7_28

am now looking  at the 1870 U.S. Mass.  census image to transcribe the forenames of the children

sorry, will add image bit for now, and erase it later when I transcribe. This seems to be your family as they are shoe workers, but is your fellow on this list in alias form? or away getting married? son Wm was age 12 in 1881 ...the famil must have immigrated before 1865 as last 2 children born Mass.

Your time and effort is very much appreciated. There must be a site dedicated to French christian names as I am sure that the enumerator must have transcribed them the way they sounded.
