If you use Google Street View you can 'drive' along it.

All of these maps lead to Kitchener Terrace in NORTH SHIELDS.  There doesn't appear to be a modern day Kitchener Terrace in Wallsend. Many streets have been demolished.  Old maps are available and I think there is a book about old Wallsend which has maps in it.

Thank you all, I could only get the North Shields one too. I believe it was near Victoria Street/Avenue.According to the Census.
Thank you again.
Vi.

If you go to http://gis.durham.gov.uk/website/interMAP/viewer.htm and click on Search, then coordinates, and enter the coords 429830, 565765, it will centre the map on Kitchener Terrace Wallsend. You can see it on the 1970-79 map

Hello Vi,
You may well have your answer by now. Kitchener Terrace, Wallsend was one of a number of streets that branched off from Neptune Road. Kitchener Terrace was a terraced no exit street that led to the Swan Hunter ship yard. Along with other streets in the area it was demolished in the 1970s and the land excavated to reveal Segedunum Fort and the area has not been rebuilt on.
