I didn't find her death, silly me, but at least you know there was 1 other.

I hope you soon sort this out, as I said if ther eis a will no doubt Isabella would have mentioned her daughter and you will ind what surname you are under

For those who answered my previous post re the Will of Isabella Edith Ford,I have now had a copy of her Will.It answers my query as to her daughter Emma Edith Ford.It seems that she had married and at the time of her mothers Will she was Mrs Malcolm John Rattray.I Googled the name and discovered that Malcolm John Rattray was a Doctor in Malaya and Emma made her life out there.Following Malcolm's death,Emma married Norman Kerr Bain in Malacca.Emma died in Malacca in 1965 having survived WW2 as a prisoner of the Japanese. As to the informant on the Death Cert, the Will gives no indication as to who  E Carter was!

Hi Louisa Maud,Thank you for your reply. The address given for E Carter on the Death Cert was somewhere in Essex(I don't have the cert in fron of me at the moment). I have, however, had another look at the codicil to the Will, the photo-copy is poor and the writing not much better, and have just found an Elizabeth Carter mentioned. There is no reference as to who she is or an address but I fel that its likely to be the E Carter on the Death Cert. Thanks for your interest.

Your first message mentions the address, Kirby Cross and that is exactly where these 2 people live but it comes under Frinton Road Kirby Cross Essex
Hopefully this will solve part of the mystery,

I only gave you information up until 1901, perhaps there was a daughter by the name of Elizabeth or pehaps a son married a girl by that name, just a thought

Hi Louisa,Have dug out the death cert now and can see the address is as you state! Sorry if I was a bit vague in my previous post this evening!I'll see if I can find them on FindMyPast on the 1911.I'm not familiar with that part of the country,Isabella Ford died in London,I wonder how far away Kirby Cross was from her home? Will check it out tomorrow. Thanks again,
Regards,
Gwen

Hi Gwen
I do not know for sure but I suspect London  is about 45-50 miles from Kirby Cross depending from where you start your journey in London,
