St George birth registration district - Edinburgh

I have a birth in 1910 which has no image on Scotlands People.  If I visit Register House, will I be able to view it then?

The district given is St George.  Does anyone know what area this would cover?  I understand the mother resided for a time in West Maitland Street which is near Haymarket.

Hi Kit

The only reason you are not able to view the image on line is that you are outside of the 100 year privacy rule for viewing images for births on line on Scotlands People. It will be available to view on line next year....but in the meantime, if you are planning to visit NRH, you will be able to view the details on the entry there  :)
