Hi punch,

Yes I found that on the 1900 census, & I'll try to send it if you PM me your e-mail.

Hi punch,

Charles & Mary Jane are on the 1910 USA census too. Says their son that was born in Canada is Bertram C., the 1900 says Charles B.

Hi Punch

As I had mentioned on the other thread, Alice is on the 1861 Census, aged 4, which gives an approximate birth year of 1857. Unfortunately, the parish records for the church the other children were baptized in are missing from the Drouin Collection for the year 1857. I checked 1856 and 1858 but she is not there in either year.

Re: Minnie/Mary Jane....

The connection would be through the Mathew Swift who was one of the witneses at the wedding and is perhaps/probably (?) Mary Jane's brother. Too bad she wasn't called Minnie on any of the censuses.

The 1900 Census info looks like a good match to me, despite Alice's birth year being different. I have looked for a baptism for Charles Bertram/ Bertram Charles but haven't had any luck so far.

Have you considered looking for Massachusetts birth cert for the John b. 1899? You might gain some additional info if a birth record is available? (I don't know how to go about checking for one but a query on the US Board might help?)
