I am trying to research my father who was decorated some time betwen 1982 and 1988, and again in 1988 the story was taken up by the Cornishman news paper and pictures were taken of him with his medals. They were destroyed in a fire and I do not know how to get into the Cornishman archives to see if I can get them again?

Hi John - welcome to rootschat ;D ;D

Their website has a section with photos on it that you can buy but it does not go back as far as 1988.  There is an e-mail address there. You could try that and see if anyone can help you.
