Hi Annie

I can check next time I go to Nottingham if no one has done it before then.  I'll put it on my list, but I won't be going until sometime in June.

Hi Annie

The entry states they were both of this parish and married by banns.
The witnesses were Joseph Rodgers & Susanna Elliott. The next entry down was the marriage of Joseph Rodgers & Susanna Elliott and the witnesses were Thomas Letherland & Mary Rodgers.  Was it a double wedding?

Annie.....from what's been posted, it doesn't look as though the Elliotts are your focal point, but, if they are in your family tree, I have Elliotts in Sneinton & I know someone else who has a different Elliott family in that area. Can't see an OBVIOUS link here, but it might be an idea to swap notes just in case, if you are looking at that family

Thankyou very much, sunflower! Looks like a double wedding, doesn't it!

Greyingrey - I don't think the Elliotts are a focus for me but if do come across any other links between them and the names of Leatherland (various spellings), Taylor, Ro(d)gers, Kilner or Fowkes (or any variant of that latter), I'd be interested to hear.

Thanks again :)
