Hi All,

Thanks a lot for your responses. I am away from home at the moment. I'll respond when I return home and can check things out.

Best regards

Do you have a list of any children she had in birth order as she might well have used her parents names for some of them.

Sounds like a good idea. IGI lists children as:

John Miller Marley (chr. 1834)
Robert Marley (chr.1837)
George Miller Marley (chr.1840)
Mary Jane Marley (chr.1842)
Thomas Enoch Marley (chr.1844)
William Marley (chr.1847)

Rootsweb also lists:

Ann Marley (c.1835) AND
Thomasina Marley (c.1843)

--------------------------------------------------
Most of my family tree covers the Highlands of Scotland, London, Hertfordshire and the Midlands of England. I work as a researcher in a military archive.

Hello,

I was looking at a post on the Leicestershire board regarding Philip Glover and found your posting on Euphemia Miller and Thomas Marley.

I am not sure if I have been in touch before but Thomas may have been the brother of my great-great grandmother, Elizabeth Marley. Thomas was a witness at her wedding and his signature is similar to the one on Thomas's marriage record. Elizabeth's father, Robert Marley, and Thomas had the same occupation - House Painter.

You may know this already, but many of the Liverpool parish registers are now on Ancestry and can be downloaded.

Regards,
David

Hi.

Is anyone still following this thread? I have an interest in the Marley family and would like to make contact with any members with further information on Euphemia born c 1813 and Thomas Marley born c 1811/1814.

Thanks.
