« on: Saturday 26 March 05 14:59 GMT (UK) »
If anyone has access to the 1861 Ayrshire Census could you please  look up  John Hendren , age 19 born Ayr.
He was a Coalminer.
If married then, his wife was Margaret age 20.
Hope someone can help,
from Maureen.

Hello Ajjbc

Thanks  so much for the information, the 1859 marriage in Ayr is a possibility for my gr/gr/grandfather, his eldest child was born the following year.
I haven't come across an Irish connection yet, though my mum says there was one but don't know which generation it was.
