Hi Shane

You are an absolute Star !!!!!
I tried ever variation of Zachariah I could think off.

Never thought of putting just an Initial, yes thats them he was a Gamekeeper.

Can I pick your brains please, I said that Sarah married Frank Spencer in 1915 in Cheshire.
Frank was in the 1st Cheshire Regiment after his death Sarah was living with her mother Elizabeth? at 71 St Kilda Street Belfast, do you know where I could find out how long she lived there after his death ?
Would there be Tenancy or Rent records anywhere.

Rgds

I am not an very familiar with details for Belfast, but there may be street listing and directories that could help (although these usually just mention head of the household).

Probably worth a posting a question about this on the Antrim board ( I think thats the right section for Belfast, its partly in Down also...)

p.s. the number of years married given by the couple on the census return fits with the possible marriage record I mentioned earlier, so that well worth following up.

The 1886 marriage does look worth following up but am puzzled by this-
I have the births but it lists mother as Elizabeth Unknown?
I've never seen a birth certificate where the mother's full name wasn't listed. Who was the informant for all the births?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

same here.... I wonder could these be Church of Ireland baptism records rather than civil certs ?

Hi All

It definitely lists the mother as Elizabeth unknown.

are you certain it's a civil birth cert ?

What details of the registration district etc are shown at the top of the certs ?
