How would i look up census from Ireland? I am looking for Anthony or Anthy Magee or Mcgee. He was born in 1819. Left Londonderry for New york 6/6/1838 on board Bark potomac. He was a farmer. His wife's name was Jane borm 1820 in Antrim Ireland.

Welcome to Rootschat. You originally posted this on someone else's thread on London/Middlesex board but I've moved it to Ireland-General board since you've mentioned more than one county in Ireland.
First complete census for Ireland is 1901- only small fragments of earlier ones for a few places survive. For Co. Londonderry there is 1831 census which only lists head of household by name.
Civil registration of births, deaths and Catholic marriages began in 1864 (from 1845 for other marriages) so for earlier dates you'd need to search for any existing church records but to do so you need to know both the family's religion and where they lived (parish if not actual townland not just the county).

There was only one Anthony McGee listed in the 1831 census [head of household]

Anthony McGee, Guladuff parish of Maghera in barony of Loughinsholin

Trouble is that in 1831 census the Anthony Magee in tyson2009's post was only about 12 years old so probably the one in 1831 census was a different person.
