I'm not sure about your find, the family are still in Yorkshire in 1911, whereas you know your Joseph was born in Surrey in 1913 - they could have moved of course. Interestingly it looks like the Lambeth family we found have a son Frederick Charles 6 with them  in 1911. The certificates are the only way you are going know for sure.

Back in again for another update. The above person is the brother of the Joseph Herbert I was looking for. Previous theories of the name being wrong on the death certificate is definitely correct. Seems the second wife put his brother's name down as Joseph's father.

We have traced back a fair amount now and even found some Old Bailey records of Joseph's Grandfather attempting to murder his BIL! :o
