HI Lauriel;
ive only just managed to access this account , im allens son .
im afraid my father Allen passed away in august 2016 , i remember a bible he had and  i found it ,  i had seen a few e mails he had been sent and replied  to the person about the bible , it went  to someone in usa i believe , if it is same bible , but was collected by a uk based relative and they sent it on to them .
maybe this is you .
not sure if i am talking of same bible as i dont remember the names in it , i have no idea if there are any other bibles around but if i see what i think is something in connection to it i will respond on here .

Hello Ian. It’s very nice of you to reply on this thread. Belated condolences on the loss of your father. I’ll be interested to know if Lauriel is the person who ended up with the Bible. I may be wrong but I get the impression that she is in the USA.  :)

yes i believe the bible made it to Laurel in the usa via another family relative who collected it from us .
good to know it didnt get into the waste system here in england and that it now has a good home with the people who are rightfull holders of it .
lucky my dad used to pick things up from the boot sales etc and save them from "the tip" .
great to know it eventually went back to its family .
