I don't think there are any online Death Records for Indiana at the moment. But perhaps these City Directory Entries may put a time-frame on things for you - 1948 is the last one I can see.

1936/37

1938 - Arch K Murray (Maude) grain dlr.  h 316 Ashland.

1941 - Arch K Murray (Maud) h 316 Ashland

1943 - Arch K Murray (Maude M)  grain elev h 316 Asland Ave.

1948 - Arch K Murray (Maude) Perry Twp Muncie 5

There is a public library in Muncie - would that be worth an e-mail to see if they can help  ???

has an entry for Archibald K. Murray in "Coal men of America".

http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html shows Maude M. Murray died 1969 in Alabama (parents listed as Charles H. Stafford and Elnora Wishart)

http://ssdi.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ - gives her last residence as Mobile, AL (although the death is registered as at Fairhope)
There's also a Charles A. Murray, b. 9 Oct 1911 d. 1999 at Daphne, AL (SSN issued Indiana).

Fairhope and Daphne are very near each other.

An Archibald Kerr Murray is born in Dalmellington, Ayrshire, Scotland         familysearch.org
This is the only Archibald Kerr Murray born in Scotland in the Civil Registration era which began in 1855.   Possibly born 1876 but I found a possible  registration in 1877 but not in Dalmellington. His birth seems to be registered North Bute, Scotland.
