Falkryn - st quivox search
« on: Friday 21 May 10 14:04 BST (UK) »
Thank you so,so much for sending the inscription about the grave of Thomas Sproat Mccracken and Mary Cameron. The first half was a revelation because I had never heard of those people or an Australian connection. It made me contact the rootschat helpers in Australia, and we have solved who they are,but much more excitingly for me,in a casual aside I also queried with them visitors from Australia to another family member who appeared on a census, and they found such a lot of information that made a key back in to my great grandparents and confirmed a huge amount of research conclusively that I have been doing here.Quest completed! Who would have thought that so much could have come from a grave inscription?Thank you for your time.
