We have Cottrells from Staffs,

My partners mother's mother is Leonora Cottrell (nee Grice) and she married Frank Bryan Cottrell, who was born in Bourneville 05 March 1926. I think we have generations further back than that, but they're on my home PC and I'm at work! Will post them later.

Ah, it seems I was mistaken, we're generations back on Grice.

I'll post them if we do get any Cottrells in that next tier back!

I have Cottrells on two sides of my family - one branch being from Devon and the other from Gloucstershire (traced only back to the early 19th / late 18th century). Anyone else possibly connected? There are possible connections to Somerset on both sides.

Hi Bruce, I live in Maclean NSW and i am a descendant of Theresa Cottrell and am the greatgrandson of Theresa and Benjamin.

I have notes that were written by grandmother written early 1930's listing family and addresses in ireland,Cork of William and Anne, and ive been told stories of Blackrock. Do you know anything of this?
Regards,    Matthew.    I would like to get in contact sometime.....
