Henry Bridgens - 1861 - Please

Hello,

Henry Bridgens was born in 1842 in Stourbridge, Worcestershire. I have him in 1851 at home with his parents James and Elizabeth in Stourbridge.

In 1871 he is in Stourbridge with wife and four children, having married Ann Ashworth in Rochdale in 1864.

However in 1861, his parents are alone in Stourbridge. So where is Henry?
One theory is that he is in Rochdale or least Lancashire, seen as he marrys Ann in Rochdale in three years time.

Possibly the Henry Bridgent, Lodger, 19, Iron Moulder born Worcestershire Old Swinford on the 1861 living at 4 Robinson St? Sq? Castleton, Rochdale.  Reference RG9/3038 folio 61 page 29.

If you haven`t got access I will transcribe it.

Thats great!

I nearly added to my orginal post, that in later census' Henry was an Iron Moulder.

I don't have access. What are the details of the Ashworth? family down the road?

Ann is a couple of years younger then Henry and born in Rochdale.

I do not know who he is lodging with as there appears to be a page or two missing.  The schedule numbers go from 136 to 146.  Henry is at the top of the page.    The previous page was Bower Street.
