Hello Brasswear,
Did William Owen have a middle name? There are several listed in the Dudley/Tipton area, so we will have to narrow it down.
This is a branch of the Webbs I have not been involved with to any extent but I am quite willing to help you as much as possible.

Hi, Brassware,
Thanks for your reply. On you first posting I wasn't quite sure what you were asking for. I thought that you may want us to trace what happened to William but now you have answered the question. Poor chaps, they didn't stand a chance! Nothing has really changed since.
I will add you details of the Webb family to my collection - there must be a connection somewhere. There were hundreds of them around Dudley & Tipton!!
If there is anything else we can help you with, you know were we are.
RobPhill

hello robphil. i've sent your enquiry about john webb to my brother in australia.when he went to aus as a £10 pom. 50 years ago my mother told him he had relatives there.but being a young bloke he could'nt be bothered to look them up. so we lost contact with the webb's now he's trying again. let you know how he gets on.
