Hi Evie,
I saw it and dismissed it. Then remembered the Liverpool site- a rootschatter mentioned it a few weeks ago and I have found a ouple of things on it since. I thought I may as well try it - with there being an Irish connection - thought there could also be a Catholic connection and there were those baptisms

I checked for marriages- no such luck and tried to make sure there were no other Jane Goodmans etc.
I hope that's them - certificates would confirm.

I just clicked the link from your reply and it takes me straight there. I wonder if it is your browser- not that I am that technical but it works so easily and then you choose Baptisms.

I hope you can access it. It has the names and then I think there is a facility for you to contact and pay for a copy certificate or details.

and it works fine Found baptism records for children of Peter Goodman and Teresa Wilson no luck with marriages.

Lancs BMD has the marriage of Peter and Theresa at the church of Our Lady and St Nicholas and St Anne which is Church of England. http://www.lancashirebmd.org.uk/

Thanks, now all I have to search for is marriage for Peter Goodman 1891 and Ellen Ward. These are the parents of William Peter Goodman ( deceased ) born Liverpool 1927 I am putting family tree together for his grandchildren.

Hi Victoria,
I can see William's birth and what looks like several siblings -all with parents Goodman and Ward. The first is 1919 which should help towards a marriage.
However, the only marriage I can see is for a Peter Goodman to an Alice O' Connor in 1917. There are births spanning a similar range so you would imagine that there are two Peter Goodmans.
I can't see anything at all - perhaps the children's bith certificates would give a clue but there doesn't see to be anything for Goodman/Ward.
