« on: Saturday 29 May 10 05:22 BST (UK) »
I am having trouble finding any further info on these families.

Frederick Tuege (occupation Shepherd) married Hanna Lemma? had a daughter Hanna Tuege born abt 1847 in Poussia . I know  Hanna Tuege  came  to Australia lived in Qld  and married a Bloom. Dont know what happend to her parents.

Robert Bloom born  Hamburg  abt 1837 to  Robert Bloom a Seaman and Mary Cousin. Robert was in Australia by 1865 in Qld but cant find his parents.

Can anyone help or give me a few useful sites  I can look at.

Thanks Leanne

Hello,

You should check all the names iby the German Compgen-Portal:
- use "Metasuche" (= metasearch)

I think "Pouissa" means Prussia.

An English Bloom, could have been a German Blum.
(it might be useful to check the name in jewishgen or similar databases)

Note: Altona, now a part of Hamburg, has not been a part of the Free State Hamburg, it has been a Denish and late a Prussian town.

All printed address books will be entered (as .jpg) in the WWW. You will find the link/links in the Compgen-Portal, using GenWiki and searching for hamburg. - Some books might be online & searchable via the Compgen-Portal.

Good luck

Hi
Here's what I think is Hanna's  Baptism
Hannah Wilhelmina Fredericke Taege d of Christian Frederich Tage (should have 2 dots above the o but I don't know how to do that) and Frederike Linnemann 30.3.1847  born 9.3.1847 Grosse Fredenwalde Brandenburg Prussia
She  seems to be their only child- (entry on Ancestry)
She married Robert Bloom 14.1.1865 Condamine Queensland.
The emigration record for her father gives the following
Christian Friedrich Taege
born 7.5.1816 Pinnow  leaving Grosse Fredenwalde for Australia 1863
He died North Arm Queensland 1897
Parents Martin Frederick Taege and Anne Louise Banton.
Other children for the couple dying in Australia seem to have her name as Johanne
Frederick died 1920
Carl William Frederick 1929
I can't find her death unless it's in 1934 as Caroline Johanna daughter of Christian Hans and Maria Nitz.
And her emigration record does give Johanna Caroline Maria Linneman verh Taege born 7.5.1815 from Grosse Fredenwalde to Australia 1863.
With them leaving at the same time
Wilhelmine Fredericke  age 24 born 4.11.1839
Carl Frederich Wilhelm age 21 born 23.12 .1842
Hanne Wilhemina Fredericke 16 born 9.3.1847
Wilhelm Otto 11 born 22.5.1852
August Frederich 7 born 23.2.1856
also a Frederich Wilhelm from Fredersdorff born 19.7.1834.

Robert Bloom died Queensland 1889 d of Robert and Mary Bousin(on Ancestry)
On line trees have the family coming from Suffolk but I'm struggling to support that.
The earliest record I can find for him is a newspaper report on (Trove)  1863 at Ipswich Queensland for blocking the High St.

Hope that helps
