Have you found Frindsbury in the long list of parishes, or the list of records within Frindsbury?

Quick update on goodwin-my tree is now looking full with most of the 20 children. i think rosina phylis [rose] was a twin -well that was what my mother was told but other baby died at birth? so now looking into this well trying 2.  my mother was evacuated from London during the war. her house was flattened-when her father went back to collect anything  from the house a few days later everything had been taken :'( so my mother had always told me that i would never be able to find anything out about her side of the family[little did she know that you guys would :o] so my mum only has her memories of her family+ 3/4 pics - her mother hephzibah keturah died when my mum was very young but i least with your fantastic help slowly but surely you are now putting her her lost family back together so once again a great big thanks to you all ;D ;D

I'm glad that your mum is pleased - and its so sad that all the family bits and bobs were destroyed or looted.

Presumably, as your mum didn't know too much about her mother's family, she is unaware of decendants from that side?  With BMD records on Ancestry coming up to 2005, it might be possible to trace some of Hephzibah's siblings forward and see what happened to them.

Ooooh!

Lewis Charles Goodwin enlisted to the Northumberland Fusiliers in WW1, and sadly died.  On the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website, it lists Lewis as the son of Stephen Thomas and Elizabeth Hephzibah Goodwin of 3 Avenue Road, Lewisham and the husband of Lily Amy Goodwin of 67 Sparta St, Blackheath Hill, Greenwich

Lewis Charles Goodwin mar Lily Amy Pink (Lily the Pink ;D ) Dec qtr 1909 Lewisham 1d 1909
