I'm trying to verify that my relative Patrick J. Farrell who married Evelyn Mary Burrowes in 1906 is the same man who was involved in establishing the Trade Unionist Movement in Sligo in the late 1800s.

Here is what I know about my relative:
My Patrick Joseph Farrell was living with his sister, Annie O'Connell, a widow, and her children in Charles St in the 1901 census at number 12, and was 37 years old. He was a carpenter/labourer.   He married in 1901 and by 1911 he was living in Teeling St. with his wife Eva and they were childless at this time.
They were married in Sligo town in 1901.  His father was John Farrell, a clerk.

Apparently Patrick J Farrell, the Trade Unionist, was a baker later in life and had a daughter Mary and had a son named Michael who was an artist in Sligo and has some paintings in the Old Model School gallery on the Mall.  Any information about this artist or his sister would also be much appreciated.
