I only mention certificates as all research is speculative until validated. ;D

Yes certificate can be expensive, especially in Western Australia.  You are fortunate that you have a relative sharing your research. :)

Good luck with your research and don't hesitate to ask if you need further help.

Cheers

I am very fortunate to have a family member sharing her research. I am not on ancestry.com but i am hoping to go to my library as it has ancestry on there. i would like to get in touch with her and thank her for sharing the information and to give her my great grandfathers branch of the family tree.

Thanks Cando

i really appreciate all your help :)

Jackaroo have u looked at the link that Essie has found

Just a curious thought.

A HENDERSON family arrived in VIC in 1841 on the ship Frankfield.  Some early immigrants gave children the name of the ship on which they arrived in the Colonies!

Perhaps someone can check VIC birth records for you?

Who is James HENDERSON?

What year was he born and who were his parents?

You need to give us all the information you have about a person as we don't wish to spend time searching for information known to you.

so sorry about that
what I do know or remember is

My grandmothers name is Olive Elizabeth West Nee Henderson
her father was Frankfield James Henderson  he came over from Victoria  he had a brother named
Arthur who co owned a shop with him after they came back from world war 1

their fathers name was james Henderson. he was born on the boat coming out to Victoria

but that's all I know. I remember a family tree that was able to take me back with the family to Ireland but I can no longer find it.

I would like to know James family eg mum and dad if possible.
James himself was born in 1843
many thanks Tracey
