Looking for birth place of William Thomas Keelan went to Victoria, Australia on Assisted passage, came to New Zealand with the
Victorian Volunteers to fight in the Maori Wars. Partnered Hana Konewa, farmed in Ohinemuri, had three children, left New Zealand with two of the girls and went to Australia or Ireland. He was a transport driver in the Constabulary.
Would appreciate any information to verify his family, date of birth, parents etc. He named his childred, Erana (Erin) and Priscilla or Bridget and his son he name Wi. His sisters used to call him Billie.
