Hi sorry as far as I know she just left I don't know that they divorced I think John died in 1953. He had another son called George who my grandmother Alice only met in later life but I don't know who his mother was. Alice died in 2008 aged 98 with George dying a few years before that. My mum who would probably know the answers died in 2003 so unfortunately I can't ask her. Best of luck with your search
