Franks - Coppingford (and Upton)

Hello,

I've recently started to research my Franks tree after having decided that despite vague descriptions of a birthplace, that the only viable location could be Coppingford.

My ancestor in question was born there with her sister in the 1790s-early 1800s.

I'm aware that the church in Coppingford was destroyed about 100 years before their births and that villagers used the Upton church from that point onwards.

I visited the church yesterday - very picturesque, but found no 19th century gravestones for the family name. I've just noticed too that the Hunts RO says that the church has retained the register.

Has anyone on here ever researched the register? - thought i'd ask before trying to contact the church myself. Or has anyone else stumbled across Franks in this parish?

There are no Franks marriages in the parish 1754-1837. nor burials up to 1837.

could not find marriage in Hunts, from 1754=1837.Mags.
