Would anyone know where Benjamin Square is /was ?.

I was in school in Llangollen in the 1950s and 1960s and can't think of a square by that name.

We really do need the dates/context. If it was in the parish of Llangollen, rather than the town, it could be in any of the townships that were in the extensive parish.

In 1881 it is included in Llangollen Abbott-District12.In modern terms it was near the Hand Hotel in the Church Street area.

Many thanks for the replies.

The timescale is around 1900's to mid 1930's (address appears on a couple of birth certs).
Looking at the Google map  Link - Benjamin Square would have been around the Llangollen Tannery Yard  area ?.

Think it would be a bit to the North of the Tannery , as far as i can remember. The Tannery was off Regent Street in my day
