I could only find the following marriage registration for the Church of St Ciwg, Parish of Llanguicke, March 19, 1898, by Banns -

William Thomas,  23, Bachelor, Tailor, Alltwen, Father David Thomas, Proffession Assorter
Margaret Jane Davies, 21, Spinster, Pontardawe, Father David John Davies, Deceased

Witnesses - William Frederick Davies/Griffith E Evans

Checked the 1901 Census and Edward Thomas, Tailor and Draper still living at Paris House.

regards

Hello - I think we have a link. The Thomas' are in our Family Bible. I would gladly send you a copy of the page if you think it would be of use.

OK. I'm just starting my research, however, if we are linked then I can assure you that the Thomas' come from very very strong farming stock hehe x

Hi,

did you get my email address?

My grandfather's ancestors seem to be farmers and the farm where Edward Thomas was living (William Thomas father) was Bedw-hirion, St Mawr, Llandeusant, Carmarthen. Does any of this ring a bell?

Looking forward to seeing the page.

I've got your link. Read the page from our Family Bible and you will see Paris House. Edward Thomas Born 1846 died 1912 and Martha Thomas Born 1851 died Jan 19th 1923

I think their son, Willie is: William Thomas Died Feb 10th 1941 in Essex somewhere ????

I'm emailing your the page from our family bible no.

Thats definitely my family, are you having trouble emailing? I replied to your email address ****@newshound.co.uk this morning, you should find it there, I don't like to put my email address on a public site. Good luck

Just spoken to my dad....it appears that Edward & Martha's son had to leave the village: he did something shameful but he doesn't know what. I'll try and get that copy to you.
