hi im trying to find a catherine moran born in 1840 in ireland but came to kidderminster i can find her in 1861/711/81 but i cant find her in 1851 she married a edward dixon.they had a john dixon and i cant seem to find him in 1881 either they lived in stourbridge in 1861 and 71 but john was born in 1859 in in worcestershire. kind regards jayne  x

Even though it says Catherine was born Stourbridge on the census it may still be yours [born Ireland] as a lot of people gave the last place they lived instead of their birthplace - its a common error to come accross

I should have noticed that catherine's age was given as 12 - so its more likely that she was born Stourbridge - sorry if my first comment misled you at all
