Artillery Street is (or was) about a mile east of Birmingham New Street station, south of the railway.

Other streets nearby also had a military connection - Garrison Street, Wolseley Street etc.  Curious.
Ballingall, Donaldson, Fulton, Gillespie, Ramsay, Walker - in Fife.
Bury - in Salford & Liverpool.
Jack - in Glasgow, Dunfermline & Dundee.
Bermingham/Birmingham - in Cork.
Eagle - in Norfolk, Edinburgh & Glasgow.
