86th reg of foot

Is anyone researching the 86th Reg Of Foot. I've just found my G.G.Grandfather and would like to know what colour uniform he would have had in 1840 -1863. He was in the Indian mutiny. Any help about the Regiment would be appreciated. Thank you. Joybar

Hello, he was born in Burnham Thorpe, Norfolk on the 1st Jan 1824. He joined up there but was disharged in Dublin in 1863. I haven't found his death record yet, he went to London to live when he came out. Joybar
