Birth lookup please - DARKER

Hi,
I am looking for a birth record for William Darker born about 1680.  I thought he was born in Sywell, but there is no record of this so maybe somewhere else in Northamptonshire.  I know this is a long shot but I though I would try.  He died in 1747 in Sywell and was married to Sarah Simco on 26 December 1704 in Sywell.  Sorry I dont know who his parents are either so this really might be too hard.  Anyway if anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Hi Jo ...

Checking for pre-1750 DARKER marriages (male and female) on the Northamptonshire Marriage Index (1700-1837), they appear in the following parishes (as well as Sywell):

Stamford Baron
Gretton
Great Oxendon
Northamptonshire (St. Giles)
Ecton
Stanion

Perhaps this will give you somewhere to start your search!
