Yes I've read it again now! What is not being said is that Thomas Jones apparently married twice. The 1891 Census shows an Elizabeth as his Wife.RG12/4638/66/2.

Apologies, Thomas did marry twice, 2nd wife was Elizabeth whom he married in 1885. IG was illig.

Mary's actual date of birth is 31st January 1869 and I have obtained all BCs of the first generation family

I take it you've rejected the possible marriage of Mary to  an Edward Evans? As a matter of interest what were the names of Mary's IG daughters?

I've got that MC to Edward but it is incorrect (in 1911 they were in Llangollen with 2 more girls born after marriage, one of those 2 new girls died a spinster, so I have done my homework). Those  2 girls were Margaret Ann and Edith, the latter I knew as "aunt" Edith. I have all descendants of both girls and in contact with them, they were not aware that the girls were "wrong side"and I have BCs of both girls as well to support my research. Also excellent support from Wrexham Register Office who found things that had not twigged with me.

You wouldn't believe how they tried to falsify birth records, to me a BC is not worth the paper it is written on, we laugh about it now

.

I thought I had the correct Mary in 1911 living at Llangollen (born Llansilin) and married c1899 with 2 more daughters after marriage but that MC has wrong father etc.

Think here's your answer, William  :-\

Hi!

I am new to this but,  I have a John Jones married to an Ann (nee Hughes), living at Talparn Farm in Llangollen Glyn Ceriog,  on the 1891 census with two children, Ann dies in childbirth in 1896 and by the 1901 census John had remarried a lady called Jane.
Unsure if any help

Thank you very much for your information.

I have all the birth certificates for the siblings of my great grandfather.

John Jones was born 26th February 1867 at Squenantisa, Llansilin so even allowing for the +/- 1 years with census records I don't think your family record is correct.

Thanks for trying, trouble with my ancestors is too many Jones'
