MERCER & CORDINGLEY families Lookups

Good evening everyone

Any Looks up required please for the following if anyone can help. These are driving my friend (her family) and me potty 

Cora Mercer was born @ Buckley, Flintshire  June 22nd  1912  to parents  Francis Mercer and Elizabeth Eleanor Cordingley

We do not know where either of these parents were born, other than assuming it is Wales.

We cannot find the marriage for these parents, anywhere on any website !!

Also struggling to find them for definite on 1901 and 1911 census's as no place of birth known.

We do know that Cora had siblings  Evelyn, Edna, Gladys and Frank, struggling with these details too.

We also know that this family moved at some point from Wales to Manchester.
We know that Francis (AKA Frank) Mercer died 1941 aged 67  Ifield Road, Droylsden, Manchester.

We also know that Cora's mother was known as Cissie Mercer.

Cora married Henry Bond and had children Harry, Raymond and June, they left Manchester too and lived
at Hemsby, Norfolk where Cora and Henry ran Hotels.

Now this is the twist, Cora always said she had Romany in her and that is why she liked to move around from
one Hotel to another home to another area, just like her mother and father...

If anyone can help with anything, it would be most greatly appreciated.

Now strange you should note Ellen as there is an Elizabeth E Cordingley on 1901 cen 15 yrs born Manchester and living Manchester as an Errand Girl. Also plenty of Elizabeth Ellen Mercer on 1911 cen but no E Eleanor, so this looks like their marriage then.
Wonder how they ended up in Wales, wonder if it was the mining works???

Well at least we know we are looking in Manchester, especially for the other children too, so many Cordingley
in that area too, like looking for a needle in haystack....

Another strange thing is Cora's birth was Jun 22 1912 making it Jun Q.... but was not reg until Sep Q 1912 Hawarden

Birth cert confirms her details as such and born at  William's Cottages, Buckley, Flintshire.

I believe you had/have 6 weeks to register a birth so it could easily have gone into the next quarter

Also, I don't think that changing between Elizabeth Ellen and Elizabeth Eleanor is such a reach - when you consider what some of our rellies got up to

Just had a download of the birth cert for Cora, her birth was reg 23rd July 1912, so did go into the next Q.
Her father was a General Labourer, we thought he might have been a miner.
I agree with the slight difference in name too.
